Mental health professionals are invited to take part in an exciting study that explores the mental health of mental health professionals.
The study will be under the supervision of Primary researcher Dr Louise Metcalf and carried out by Reinette de Wet. The study will take place at The Australian College of Applied Psychology.
Working professionals are invited to participate in the online experiment that examines the impact of online mindfulness. It looks at activities on burnout, resilience and stress in mental health professionals. This study offers the potential to lower stress and burnout, and increase resilience levels.
Participants will be asked a series of questions in relation to burnout, resilience and stress, along with some demographic questions. They will then be asked to participate in online mindfulness practices for approximately 5 minutes per day for 10 days. These practices will take place online Monday through Friday over the course of two weeks. There will be a follow up survey after the last mindfulness exercise.
